Under Dutch consumer law, every Scandivv product must meet the quality and performance a customer may reasonably expect under normal use. International customers also retain any mandatory conformity or legal-guarantee rights that apply where they live.

If a product is defective or does not meet those reasonable expectations, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or a refund as required by law. Nothing on this page limits a statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

In addition to your statutory rights, Scandivv provides a 3-month commercial warranty starting on the date the product is delivered.

It covers initial product defects and manufacturing or workmanship issues that become apparent under normal use. This commercial warranty does not replace or limit your statutory rights.

Covered clothing defects may include faulty seams or stitching, holes or tears present on delivery, incorrectly attached buttons or fasteners, and defective construction or printing.

A size or fit preference is not a product defect and is handled under our Return Policy.

Covered jewelry defects may include an item arriving damaged or bent, visible finish flaws, uneven engraving, misaligned elements, rough edges, loose stones, faulty clasps, or poorly soldered links.

Gold plating can wear over time. Natural stones and freshwater pearls may vary in shape, color, and shine; those natural characteristics are not defects.

The commercial warranty does not cover lost items, accidental damage, improper use or storage, normal wear, or third-party repairs or modifications.

Examples include scratches, tarnishing, fading or gradual plating wear; pilling, snagging, stretching, shrinkage, color transfer, or print damage; and damage caused by washing, drying, ironing, or exposure contrary to product-specific care instructions. Normal water contact within an express waterproof claim is intended use and is not treated as misuse.

Care recommendations do not automatically remove statutory rights or commercial-warranty coverage. These exclusions do not apply where the issue was caused by a covered defect or where mandatory law provides otherwise.

Clothing: Follow the washing and drying instructions shown on the product page and the garment care label. Instructions vary by fabric and construction.

Jewelry: For maximum lifespan, we recommend storing pieces dry and removing them before sleeping, exercising, swimming, washing, or showering. Dry jewelry after exposure and avoid chlorine, salt water, perfume, lotion, sunscreen, skincare products, and harsh chemicals.

For products expressly sold as waterproof, normal water contact within the advertised claim is intended use. The drying and avoidance guidance is a longevity recommendation, not an automatic forfeiture of statutory rights or commercial-warranty coverage.
