Stainless steel is highly resistant to tarnishing, will not rust and will not turn green, making it a long-lasting choice for everyday wear. Gold-plated pieces need extra care because the real gold layer is delicate: keep them dry and away from perfume, lotions, sunscreen, skincare products and heavy sweating so the plating lasts as long as possible.
